In my exercise physiology class, we try to do many experiments that put the concepts learned in class into perspective. Much of what my students are learning has to do with the cardiovascular system and how that affects the body. Some subjects we are looking at is max. heart rate, steady state heart rate, VO2 max, and various effects that these have on exercise performance and the cardiovascular system function. It is necessary in these experiments that we be able to determine the heart rate of the students during the activity instead of afterwards because we need to be able to see how the heart rate is affected and changes in response to exercise. Therefore, it would be greatly appreciated if I was provided with these materials in order to enhance the learning of my students so they can fully understand the concepts of exercise physiology.
